Sub Aqua Solutions is a NZ South Island based company and was formed by Anthony Bacon and Ben Coburn after sensing an opportunity in the commercial diving and marine contracting industry.

Both directors have a vast knowledge in this environment with over 50 years of experience between them. Problem solving, getting their head around and talking through a job is their specialty which is essential in this surrounding.

Anthony started as an Australian Navy Clearance Diver at the age of 17 then progressed to civil after discharge, working on marine farms and their structures, pipelines, salvage, wharf maintenance and repairs, power station upkeep to name a few. He has also worked in the oil and gas industry offshore both as a diver and supervisor.

 

Ben came from a more rural background and started as a skipper for the NZ tourism industry, then going on to gain his Commercial diving ticket and working in the marine farming industry closely followed with work on wharves and their structures, pipelines, salvage and power station maintenance.

Sub Aqua Solutions is totally devoted to the task at hand and applies a get the job done with a minimal fuss attitude. We often tell our clients that “you not only get a dive team but a workforce” as the crew won’t sit and watch, it will muck in whenever needed, nothing is a problem.
